The purpose of this website is to introduce the services that SEQ Legal provides to publishers and others involved with the publishing industry.

We provide two main kinds of service.

First, we provide consultancy services. These services include drafting and negotiating publishing contracts and other legal documents, providing legal advice, and trade mark services.

We have experience of advising some of the UK's top publishing companies, including trade, academic, STM, magazine, newspaper and electronic publishers. We also have experience of advising small publishers and individual authors. Because of this wealth of experience, we are well-attuned to current practices in the different fields of publishing. Second, we sell downloadable legal templates for use by publishers and others involved in publishing. The publishing templates we provide include author agreements, editor agreements, artwork agreements and permission letters. See: Templates.
