- advising on legal issues affecting clients' businesses;

Publishing contract services
We have considerable expertise - and years of experience - drafting, advising upon and negotiating a wide range of publishing and publishing-related contracts and other legal documents.
Our consultants have advised many different publishers, including some of the biggest names in UK and international publishing. As well as publishers, we have experience advising authors and editors, learned societies, literary agents and literary estates.
Specialist legal drafting can be expensive, particularly for authors and smaller publishers.
We offer an alternative approach: a friendly professional service, with transparent and competitive charging.
We aim to provide (and believe that we do provide) a service of at least the same quality as you would expect to receive from a London law firm specialising in media and publishing law.
Other services
Publishing involves a myriad of different laws, and we are experts in many of the areas of law affecting publishers. These include: copyright, moral rights, database right, trade marks and other areas of intellectual property law; libel and malicious falsehood; privacy and data protection; sales and consumer laws; internet laws; and contract and tort law generally.
We have experience managing large trade mark portfolios, and also prosecute UK trade mark applications and conduct opposition proceedings.
Lastly, we represent clients in domain name arbitration proceedings. These proceedings are used to recover internet domain names that trespass upon a person's IP rights.
